the "multirotor" bug
(still not happy with calling them "drones")
A combination of radio-controlled aircraft and capturing
video from the air -
what's more fun than that?
After a couple of years of building my own machines,
I discovered that the DJI Phantom did everything I ever
wanted a quad to do,
for less money than my home-made craft.
Here are a couple of recent flights.
Before the Phantom, there was my "big rig": A scratch-built
quadcopter set up for aerial photography.
Four 12" carbon fiber props, a gimbal, gopro, video
transmitter for flying FPV, and more. FUN.
